“Never stop praying.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 New Living Translation

There is no circumstance or situation in which we should allow ourselves to believe that we cannot pray. Throughout the Bible and history, men and women have prayed to God because it is very evident that God is always near and that He is always able to help.

Daniel prayed on the way to the lion’s den, and God shut the mouths of the lions.  Moses talked to God on the shores of the Red Sea, and God parted the waters at the very moment it was needed the most.

Whether it is in good times or bad times, lean times or abundant times, early in the morning or late at night, please know that talking to God is not only possible but is critical to our survival on the earth! Simply put, we need to speak to God at all hours and on all occasions!

Sometimes I feel like God may not want to talk to me because I have messed up or I have had a bad attitude. However, it is precisely at those times I need to speak with God the most! Please hear this: Talk to God consistently in that you do not let a day pass without having been in conversation with Him. Talk to God constantly in that you bring Him into every significant or mundane moment of your day.

Action Steps:

  1. See if you can remember to talk to God throughout today.
  2. As you drive, as you work, and as you get ready to eat, include God by speaking to Him. He loves to hear from you!
